Friends of Pinole Creek welcomes you to join in the following community events to support the Pinole Creek Watershed. All ages are welcome, everyone has a role to play!

Pollinator Planting: Native Plants for Pollinators

Location: Upper Watershed (a mile past Castro Ranch on Alhambra Valley Road

Friends of Pinole Creek Watershed was awarded a habitat kit with 85 native plants from the Xerces Society to develop habitats that support monarchs and other pollinators. 

We will be planting in the Upper Watershed (a mile past Castro Ranch on Alhambra Valley Road) on Saturday, November 5th and are looking for volunteers to help plant 85 plants. Water and snacks provided. Kids are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a well-behaved adult. Due to parking, we will limit the group to 25; don’t miss out!

Pinole Creek Allies: 2nd Monthly Creek Cleanup

Meet at the Bowling Alley at 10:00am for orientation, waiver-signing, and snacks. We’ll spread out from there. Bring your trash-spotting eyes, gloves, trash grabbers, and your own water bottle (we will have water to refill your personal bottles).
