It was an awesome day at the Pinole Library Native Plant Garden and cleaning up trash along the Creek trail. Pinole volunteers, Community Services Commission, Earth Team, and FOPCW rock!! Note that there is significantly less trash in the creek. We are thrilled that our efforts have been rewarded!

We are excited to partner with the City of Pinole's Community Day on Saturday, May 18. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved, but FOPCW will host the action at the Pinole Public Library, including a trash cleanup along the Pinole Creek Trail, and working in the Native Plant Garden, including weeding and mulching and watering. You can show up and register at the library at 9 am. (You do NOT need to register downtown.) We will have snacks, water, and tools available. A lunch follows at noon at the Pinole Youth Center near Fernandez Park.
